This therapy, according to statistics, has reduced the risk of a heart attack in women by about three hundred times after the end of the menstrual cycle. It is now accepted that such therapy should last until about the age of 65 in order to reduce the risk of exposure to a heart attack.

Many previous studies have already pointed out the importance of water hardness in protection against heart disease, especially coronary heart disease.

The degree of water hardness is greatly influenced by the minerals calcium and magnesium. Soft water contains little or not enough of these minerals, unlike hard water, which contains them in large quantities.

According to the results of international research on the effectiveness of vitamin E and the enzyme ACE (Angiotensin-converting enzyme) in preventing heart disease, and according to the theory accepted so far, vitamin E prevents or partially reduces lipoprotein oxidation, thus reducing the risk of calcium deposition along arteries and thus a heart attack.

A combination of vitamin E and vitamin C

The use of vitamins C and E before a hearty meal blocks the damage to the bloodstream due to the intake of fat, and thus reduces the risk of heart disease.

Respondents who received high-fat foods were divided into two groups. One received 1 gram of vitamin C and 800 milligrams of vitamin E with high-fat foods, while the other received only fatty foods without vitamins. In the second group, of course, the blood flow slowed down, while in the group that had the mentioned vitamins in the food, the blood flow remained normal.

Researchers from the hospital in Southampton found that people who do not get enough vitamin C in the body are twice as likely to have heart disease as the reason for their death.

The deficiency of this vitamin is just as destructive as high blood pressure.

The recommended daily dose for vitamin B-6 is about 3 milligrams, and most of it is also in vitamin tablets, avocado, bananas, beef, cereals, potatoes, milk, and tuna. Interestingly, these listed recommended amounts are three times higher than previously considered ideal.

This finding only confirms that only a proper diet, which includes all the necessary ingredients, especially vitamins and minerals, can significantly reduce the number of cardiovascular patients.

Of course, drug therapy can also make a big contribution. In the first place are Aspirin, which was already among the first to enter the application of prevention, then beta-blockers, and finally the previously mentioned ACE inhibitors.

His Majesty – Aspirin

In addition to the already well-known effects, as one of the oldest and most commonly used drugs, aspirin also has one valuable effect. Guess what it is? That’s right, it prevents heart attacks.

The hypothesis had a lot of supporters in medical circles, and now it has been strengthened by extensive research by American experts. It was conducted over a period of 5 years under the name Medical Health Study. The study involved 22,000 doctors – members of the American Medical Association.

Aspirin reduces the risk of heart attack by controlling platelet aggregation and blood clotting.

But that, on the other hand, can increase the risk of bleeding into the brain, which has been shown to be true in research.

Also, bleeding in the stomach is possible if there is an ulcer.

Therefore, it is advised to take aspirin only in consultation with the attending physician. In any case, some recommendation is to take a maximum of one tablet of 100 milligrams a day, on a full stomach, and with plenty of water, especially in the evening.

Canadian researcher Harry Barnett came to the conclusion that this drug has more effects in men than in women, as he believes, due to the difference in hormones. There is no safe cure for heart attack, but aspirin significantly reduces the risk. It helps even better if it is reduced with smoking, does not overdo it with alcohol, and takes care of a healthy diet.

Let’s not forget Simvastatin and Niacin

The combinations of the already mentioned minerals, vitamins, drugs, aspirin with cholesterol-lowering drugs (Simvastatin), and Niacin (one of the B-complex vitamins), reduce the risk of heart attack by as much as 90% in some patients.

Simvastatin lowers the concentration of “bad” cholesterol, and Niacin increases the concentration of “good” cholesterol, which together has very positive effects on the condition of blood vessels, confirm researchers from the University of Washington in Seattle.
